Discover WHO WE ARE! We associate wine with an entertaining atmosphere that keeps an informal elegance, we offer a great variety of wines by the glass and more the 600 different wine bottles. Through the decoration, warm ambience, as well as private rooms in the basement, we create the feeling of being in a wine cellar.

Our
José Guido, Executive Chef Tintos & Blancos Escazú is a kitchen professional with extensive experience and a track record. After graduating from the INA, he began his journey through the world of gastronomy in the renowned restaurant specialized in meats Outback Steak House, to continue growing as a professional he joined the kitchen team of the Peruvian restaurant La Divina Comida. To expand his knowledge in another type of cuisine, he worked at the Casa Conde hotel, there he lived the experience of working in a hotel kitchen, very different from a restaurant kitchen. In his first stage at Tintos & Blancos he worked as cook A with a focus on hot cooking and production. With the intention of growing as a professional, he took on the position of Sous Chef in the renowned restaurant, specialized in fish and seafood, Product C. Like many other kitchen professionals, he sought to live the experience of working in a tourist area and was hired at the restaurant of the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club in Guanacaste. He returned to San José and rejoined Tintos & Blancos team and thanks to his good performance he was promoted to Sous Chef and since October 2021 he is the our Executive Chef in Multiplaza Escazú. We hope that he stay with us for a long time, so that our guests will enjoy his creativity.

During the Middle Ages, the medieval halls were the meeting place to share, enjoy and celebrate every important occasion, drink and eat. At Tintos & Blancos Escazú we offer you a private room to organize your event. No rental cost, Excalibur, is a private and cozy space for you to organize tastings, birthdays, corporate events or other activities. If you want to reserve a room, contact to mail info@tyb.cr.
