Chef

Rodolfo Cárdenas Campos assumed the position of Executive Chef of Tintos & Blancos on January 13, 2025. He is a professional with extensive experience and an international career. He trained at the Costa Rican Culinary Institute, at the Etruria Culinary Art Academy, finishing with a Master of Cuisine in Gastronomic and Food Sciences at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute in Lima, Peru. His professional career, once he finished his studies, began at the prestigious 3-Michelin-Star restaurant Martín Berasategui in San Sebastián, Spain. Upon his return to Costa Rica, he began his career at the Westin hotel in Playa Conchal, passing through the Villas Sámara hotel, Frank's Secret Beer Garden in Nosara. At the Tabacón Grand Spa hotel in La Fortuna de San Carlos he served as Specialty Chef. In the same town he assumed the position of Executive Chef at the Royal Corin hotel. At the Flamingo Paradise Beach Hotel he was in charge of the kitchen as Executive Chef and in 2023 he assumed responsibility as Executive Chef at The Gilded Iguana hotel in Nosara. We are very happy that he is part of our team and we are sure that his training and experience will be positively reflected in our gastronomic offer.

At Tintos & Blancos Escazú we offer you a private room to organize your event.
